How to Delete a Action Plans or Playbooks via Plan Summaries
In Squivr, Milestone Templates generate Plan Summaries when they are applied to a record. These Plan Summaries represent the instance of a Milestone Template on that record - and this is where you actually delete them.
The most reliable and admin-friendly way to remove a milestone template is to expose the Plan Summary related list on the object’s page layout. Once this related list is visible, users or admins can delete templates directly from it.
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Add the Plan Summary Related List to the Page Layout
Before you can delete a milestone template, you need access to the Plan Summary records tied to it.
In Salesforce Setup, go to Object Manager.
Select the object where the template is being applied (e.g., Account, Opportunity, or a custom object).
Open Page Layouts.
Edit the correct layout.
In the palette, locate Related Lists.
Drag Plan Summaries onto the page layout.
Save the layout.
Once saved, each record will now display a list of the Plan Summaries associated with it.
2. Delete the Milestone Template From the Plan Summary Related List
After adding the related list:
Navigate to a record where the template is applied.
Scroll to the Plan Summaries related list.
Find the Plan Summary tied to the milestone template you want to remove.
Click the dropdown arrow (▾) and choose Delete.
Deleting the Plan Summary removes the Milestone Template instance from that record, including the associated Tracked Milestones (tasks).

Since Plan Summaries track all active action plans, exposing this list is the cleanest way to see what is currently active and remove templates as needed.

You can delete the Plan Summaries by clicking the drop down list and selecting delete
