Squivr can be used from the stand-alone Squivr app which comes preconfigured with Squivr Org Chart on the Account Lightning Page and Squivr Timeline on the Opportunity Lightning Page. However you may want to incorporate the Squivr Lightning Components into your existing customizations.
Adding Squivr Org Chart on Account Lightning Page
- Open the desired Account Lightning Page in Lightning App Builder. You can do this by navigating to the Lightning App Builder area of Salesforce Setup or directly from an Account Record by clicking the gear icon in the top right of the page and selecting “Edit Page”
- From within the Lightning App Builder interface, Squivr Org Chart Component will appear in the left panel at bottom under the “Custom - Managed” header.
- Drag the Org Chart Component onto a drop zone in the center page layout area. You may place it in any area you desire but Org Chart should have appropriate height to be useable.
- Set any Org Chart design attributes as desired in the right pane when Org Chart Component is still selected in the center layout area. For example Org Chart can be configured to display both Account and Contacts or only Account or Contact.
- Save the Lightning Page.
- Activate the Lightning Page so that your changes become available to users. The page can be Activated as the Org Default (most common) or as default for a Lightning App, Record Type or User Profile.
- Test that Org Chart is available by navigating to an Account.
