Users can now label, describe, and color their custom relationship lines from and to: Accounts, Contacts, and Users on Org Chart.
When a custom relationship line is initially created or when clicking on an existing line, the new relationship modal will pop up. This modal will contain the following functionality:
Type
A text field that will allow users to briefly label what type of relationship the line is representing.
Influence
By default, three options will be available to select: Positive, Negative, and Neutral.
- Positive: Colors the relationship line green.
- Neutral: Will leave or change the color to the default black color.
- Negative: Colors the relationship line red.
Customizing Influence Values
You can customize the Influence labels and the associated line color from the Object Manager
- Navigate to Custom Relationship and click Fields & Relationships
- Click on Influence to modify the picklist values
- Add new picklist values
- Value: The value will be the Influence value label that users see when creating a new Custom Relationship
- API Name: This will drive the Custom Relationship line color.
Description
Allows users to write a description of the custom relationship in a text field that is available in the modal when clicking on a custom relationship line.
Delete
To delete the custom relationship line, simply click on the desired line and click "delete" on the bottom of the modal.
Data
Other data that is represented on the modal is where the line is coming from and where it is going to, which user last modified the line, and when this was modified.
* This information/data surrounding the custom relationship lines can also be seen and reported on from the Squivr "custom Relationship" object. The API name is "squivr__Custom_Relationship__c"
