Quadrants helps you capture structured insights directly on Accounts, Opportunities, or any object using configurable boxes and reusable items.
Adding Items from the Library
Open a record with Quadrants
Click Add Item in the desired box
Select the From Library tab
Browse or search for items
Select one or more items (multi-select supported)
Optionally add personal notes
Click Add Selected Item(s)
Creating Manual Items
Click Add Item in a box
Select Create New
Enter:
Title (required)
Description (optional)
Your Notes (optional rich text)
Click Create Item
Manual items are useful for one-off insights not yet in the library. Admins can convert manual entries to library items in the configuration page.
Editing Items
Click an existing item
Update the title, description, or notes
Click Save Changes
Deleting Items
Click the delete icon on the item
Confirm removal
Deleted items are removed from the box.
Adding a Quadrant Summary
Quadrants support a high-level summary for overall context.
Click Add Summary beneath the quadrant header
Enter your analysis using the rich text editor
Click Save
Common Issues
Library items are missing
The admin may not have configured matching Type Keys
The library item may be inactive
You may not have permission to view library records
Quadrants is not visible
The component may not be added to the record page
Your permission set may not include Quadrants access
