If Squivr's Org Chart has been added to your Opportunity or Account Lightning Page, you can configure it to display the relationships that matter most by mapping Contact Roles.
Org Chart transforms Contact Roles into a visual relationship map, making it easy for users to identify key stakeholders and understand how contacts are connected-both at the opportunity and account level.
Managing Opportunity Contact Roles with Org Chart
When configured to use Opportunity Contact Roles, Org Chart displays contacts as a visual relationship map so users can quickly see who is involved in a deal and how they contribute.
Unlike the standard Salesforce related list, Org Chart provides a consolidated view of unique contacts, even when a contact holds multiple roles on the same opportunity.
Key Benefits
Visual map of all opportunity stakeholders
De-duplicated contacts with multiple roles
Clear visibility into each contact’s role(s) on the opportunity
This makes it easier to understand deal influence and stakeholder coverage at a glance.
Add Account and Opportunity Contact Roles from Squivr
You can add the Account and Opportunity Contact Roles with ease via Squivr. Simple Click the Roles Icon on the Card, Hover over the icon that matches the contacts Role either at the account or on an open opportunity. To set the role please click the contact's role and boom the role is set. This will now set the role in Salesforce which is visible via Squivr or within Salesforce's related list.
Managing Account Contact Roles with Org Chart
In addition to Opportunity Contact Roles, Salesforce also supports Account Contact Roles, which define the role a contact plays at the account level.
The Account Contact Role represents the relationship between a Contact and an Account, helping teams understand who the key stakeholders are across the entire customer relationship-not just within individual opportunities.
When configured, Org Chart can visualize Account Contact Roles to provide a broader view of account relationships.
Key Benefits
Identify primary and influential contacts on an account
Visualize account-level stakeholders alongside opportunities
Improve account planning and engagement strategies
Opportunity Contact Roles vs. Account Contact Roles
| Feature | Opportunity Contact Role | Account Contact Role |
|---|---|---|
| Object | OpportunityContactRole | AccountContactRole |
| Relationship | Contact → Opportunity | Contact → Account |
| Purpose | Deal-specific stakeholders | Account-level stakeholders |
| Visualized in Org Chart | Yes | Yes |
Using both role types together gives users a complete picture of who matters, where, and why—from individual deals to the broader account relationship.
