Modify Detail Panel Tabs

The Org Chart Detail Panel provides users with the ability to quickly edit details of an Account or Contact, view related Opportunities and add notes. These default tab options within the Detail Panel can be modified through Org Chart Configuration. 

NOTE: See Updating Selected Default Tabs Picklist Values if one or more of our default options is not available.   

Overriding Default Tabs

When creating or modifying an existing Org Chart Configurations record, you have the ability to override the default tabs that appear in the Detail Panels. 

1. Go down to the Card Configuration  portion of the configuration
2. Select True for Override Default Tabs
3. From the multi-select Selected Detail Panel Tabs section, select which tabs you want to have available for end users when using Squivr Org Chart
4. If you selected the "Opportunity List View" tab, it will be automatically populated with the Field Set provided as part of the Squivr package. If there is a different field set that you would prefer to use,  See below for additional information.

Squivr Default Tabs

Without applying a custom configuration to the Org Chart component, the default tabs will be:

• Object Compact Layout
• Opportunity Timeline
• Notes

Defining a Field Set to use for the Opportunity List View

If you add the Opportunity List View as a Detail Panel tab, you have two options for defining which columns appear.

Option 1: Use the Field Set that is included in the Squivr managed package. See image below. 

Option 2: Create your own Opportunity Field Set. If you go this route, we recommend limiting the number of fields in the Field Set to 6 for optimal user experience. Also, at this time we do not support including fields from related objects. 

Updating Selected Default Tabs Picklist Values

Depending on which Squivr package version you initially installed, it's possible a value might be missing from the Selected Default Tabs field when creating an Org Chart Configuration. Follow the steps below to resolve. 

• From Setup -> Object Manager -> Org Chart Configuration
• Click Fields & Relationships
• Search for Selected Default Tabs and click to modify
• Using list below as guide, add the missing value(s) 
  • Object Compact Layout
  • Opportunity List View
  • Opportunity Timeline
  • Enhanced Notes
  • Object Full Layout
• Update the Controlling Field, Override Default Tabs, so that all values are marked as included when Override Default Tabs = True
