Creating an Action to Initiate Object Rule Evaluation

You can create an action on a Parent Object or any object specified in the Object Rule Configuration to manually initiate Object Rule evaluations.

Because Squivr AI can be used across both standard and custom objects, this action allows rules to be triggered on demand. This is particularly useful for:

• Rule Hierarchies

• Field updates

Creating an Action on a Standard or Custom Object

To create an Initiate Object Rules action on a different standard or custom object, follow the steps below.

Steps

1. Navigate to Salesforce Setup → Object Manager

2. Select the object where you want to add the action

3. Select Buttons, Links, and Actions

4. Click New Action

5. Configure the action with the following values:

   • Action Type: Lightning Web Component

   • Lightning Web Component: squivr:initiateObjectRules

   • Label: Initiate Object Rules (or a label of your choice)

6. Click Save

7. Add the action to the object’s Lightning Page or Page Layout
